We do not sell banner impressions to a general audience. We sell the space next to the subject the reader is working through right now. If there is no article that fits yours yet, we write one.
How the terms are agreed
The price is agreed case by case, depending on which section you appear in and for how long. Before any offer we send the current traffic figures and the Search Console view, so you can judge the reach yourself. We are not going to sell visibility while hiding the numbers.

Why this works better than a banner
The whole value of the site rests on the figures being right: every amount is checked against the Tax Administration, Kela, Migri, the Finnish Centre for Pensions and PRH, and every page carries the date it was verified. Readers arrive for a trustworthy answer, which is why they read to the end.
Commercial content sits in that same place, clearly marked. It does not compete with the content, it continues it: once the calculator has given a number, the reader has a concrete question, and your service is the answer to it.
What the price includes

- Nothing is placed inside a calculator, between the input fields and the result.

What does advertising on Selkoraha cost?
The price is agreed case by case and depends on the section and the length of the placement. We send the current traffic figures and the Search Console view first, and make an offer only on that basis.
Why is the price not stated on the page?
Because one price does not fit every section. A car-tax calculator and a pension article have very different readerships, and a fixed rate card would mislead one of them. We give you the numbers and the price in the same message.
Is paid content marked as advertising?
Always. Every paid placement carries the label "Kaupallinen yhteistyö". Consumer law requires advertising to be recognisable, and the marking is in the advertiser’s interest too: readers trust a site where the line is visible.
What if there is no article that fits my field?
We write one. A new article follows the same rules as the rest of the site: figures from official sources, sources listed on the page, verification date shown. You approve the text before publication.
Can I send my own finished copy?
You can send material and your wishes, but we write the final text. The consistent language and structure of the site are part of why readers return, so we do not publish advertiser copy unchanged.
Which advertisers do you turn down?
