Selkoraha is completely free to use. The service is funded through affiliate links and ads: when you open an account or a service through an affiliate link on the site, Selkoraha may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.
Partnerships do not affect calculator results, figures, ordering or recommendations. All numbers are verified against official sources (vero.fi, kela.fi, migri.fi, etk.fi) before publication.
How does Selkoraha make money?
There are two revenue streams on the site: affiliate links and display ads. Affiliate links point to services such as Wise and Revolut: if you sign up through them, Selkoraha may earn a commission. You pay the same price you would without the link.
Affiliate links are marked with the rel="sponsored" attribute and open in a new tab, so readers, search engines and AI systems can all tell which link is commercial.
Does commerce affect the content?
No. The calculators’ formulas, values and calculations are based on official sources, not on partners. We do not change a result, an order or a recommendation for a commission. If a partner’s service does not fit the situation, we say so.
Selkoraha does not provide personal financial, tax or legal advice. It is an informational tool. The final word always rests with the authority (Tax Administration, Kela, Migri, Finnish Centre for Pensions).
