These terms cover Selkoraha’s paid PDF study guides. The first one is a guide to the hygiene passport test, in Russian and in English, with the same point in Finnish under each rule. The calculators and the rest of the site stay free.
Who sells the guide
The guide is written by Palvemax OY (business ID 3479337-9, Saturnuksenkatu 2 B 18, 11130 Riihimäki, Finland), which runs Selkoraha.
Payment goes through Stripe Managed Payments, where the seller of record is Link, Stripe’s payment service. Link takes the payment, handles VAT, sends the receipt and answers questions about the payment. On your bank statement the purchase starts with LINK.COM*.
Product and price
The guide is a PDF file you can print or read on your phone. The contents, page count and languages are listed next to the buy button. The price is €9 including VAT. If the checkout page shows the price in your own currency, Stripe has converted it. You always see the amount you’ll be charged before you pay.
The guide isn’t official Ruokavirasto material and doesn’t guarantee that you pass the test. It contains none of the official test statements.
Payment and receipt
You pay on Stripe’s secure checkout page by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We never see your card details. Link emails the receipt to the address you enter at checkout.
Delivery
After payment you land on a page where you can download the file straight away. We also email you a download link. It works for 30 days after payment, and you can use it more than once. Save the file on your device so you still have it after the link expires.
Right of withdrawal
When you buy online you usually have 14 days to withdraw from the purchase. Under Finnish law this doesn’t apply to digital content that isn’t supplied on a physical medium if supply has started with the consumer’s express prior consent and the consumer has acknowledged losing the right of withdrawal (Consumer Protection Act, chapter 6, section 16(1)(12)).
That’s why the buy button only works once you tick the box: you ask for the file straight after payment and confirm that you can’t cancel the purchase after that. You also get this confirmation by email together with the download link.
If something is wrong with the file
If the file won’t open or the guide contains an error, write to info@palvemax.fi. We’ll send you a corrected file, and if we can’t fix the problem, we’ll refund the price. These terms don’t limit your rights under consumer protection law.
How you may use the guide
The guide is for the buyer’s personal use. Please don’t share, resell or publish it without our permission.
Questions and disputes
Send questions about the guide to info@palvemax.fi. For payment and receipt matters you can also contact Link support (support.link.com).
If we can’t reach an agreement, you can ask the Finnish consumer advisory service (kuluttajaneuvonta) for help and then take the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariitalautakunta).
